Merger Control (Domestic and International)
We provide a comprehensive service in relation to domestic and international merger control, which often affects whole schedules of business combinations, such as M&A, joint ventures, business tie-ups and corporate reorganizations. In cross-over merger cases, we work to enhance smooth international business development by our clients, taking advantage of our international network of expert lawyers, including building and working with an efficient global team composed of both domestic and foreign lawyers. Our services include:
- Advising on strategies for large-scale mergers, including mergers involving parties with significant market share in affected markets
- Advising on how to use economic analysis for merger activities under review by authorities
- Assessing the requirements for merger filings in the relevant jurisdictions and advising on structuring, hive-offs and other mitigating measures (both structural and behavioral measures)
