[Press Release] Establishment of Atsumi & Sakai Osaka Office
We are pleased to announce that Atsumi & Sakai has opened an affiliate office in Osaka, Japan's second city and second largest economic hub, to service the growing demand from domestic and international businesses for diversified and sophisticated legal services in the Kansai region; with the new office our network now comprises eight offices and affiliate offices in Japan and overseas.1 From its Tokyo base and other offices, domestic and international, Atsumi & Sakai2 provides its clients with high-level expertise in a broad range of legal and business fields including cross-border transactions, M&A, finance, intellectual property, risk management, and commercial disputes. Focusing on corporate law, A&S Osaka will play a key role in enabling us to provide enhanced support to companies and foreign-affiliated businesses in the region.
Japanese lawyers and registered foreign lawyers at our other offices will work in partnership with A&S Osaka as necessary and provide timely and precise solutions to the legal needs of clients in the Kansai region. The new office will actively engage in supporting local companies expanding overseas and foreign companies entering Japan, as well as providing legal advice to regional financial institutions and venture companies.
