The night-time economy, which activates tourism and cultural activities at night, is attracting attention as a concept that plays a central role in tourism promotion and urban development by enhancing regional attractiveness, promoting longer visitor stays, and increasing consumption. Community-rooted fireworks festivals, night markets, and illumination events, together with initiatives that make use of music, film, and sport content or urban spaces, generate not only economic spill-overs, but also new cultural value and more sustainable community management.
Due to the late-hour operating environment, it is essential to ensure safety and security, coexist with local residents, comply with complex laws and regulations such as the Act on Control and Improvement of Amusement Business and city ordinances, and develop compliance systems.
Due to our involvement in the amendment of the Act on Control and Improvement of Amusement Business (deregulation of the dance business, digital darts and the simulation golf business), and our expertise with night-time policy support (to the Japan Tourism Agency, Agency for Cultural Affairs, and local governments), we provide the following comprehensive legal services to a wide variety of stakeholders, including DMOs, area management organizations, event organizers, and various local governments.
