Hiroyuki Sanbe, Partner, became an advisor to the Generative AI consortium launched by Nikkei Inc. and will be featured as a speaker and panelist at the symposium entitled "NIKKEI Generative AI Symposium: Possibilities and Rules for Business Transformation," organized by Nikkei Inc. and sponsored by the Digital Agency, on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

 

As part of the recent development of artificial intelligence (AI), the field of large-scale language models (LLM) has shown particularly rapid progress. These generative AIs are expected to have a significant impact on business, contributing to solving numerous problems and to enhancing the inherent creativity of humans. On the other hand, there is a growing need to discuss rules and guidelines for utilizing generative AI.

 

In this context, Nikkei Inc. has launched the Generative AI consortium to discuss the potential of generative AI, how it can be utilized, and appropriate rules and regulations. Mr. Sanbe has assumed the position of advisor to the Generative AI consortium.
