Atsumi & Sakai established a Korea Practice Group to resolve legal issues arising from investment and international transactions between Korea and Japan. With the aim of solving complex international legal problems, we provide legal services in various languages, including Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese and English, among others, in order to meet the needs of our clients.
Our Korea Practice Group provides high quality legal services that satisfy clients' needs to resolve diverse legal issues, including, M&A, restructuring, establishment and maintenance of legal entities in Japan, international trade, including trade remedies such as anti-dumping investigations, government relations, litigation, arbitration, labor & employment, tax & customs, intellectual property law, data protection, E-commerce, sports, entertainment etc., as well as other complicated legal issues.
Our Korea Practice Group consists of not only Japanese lawyers but also experienced lawyers from Korea, the United States, Australia, Vietnam, and China, as well as other nationalities, collectively capable of providing professional multinational services. In addition, we offer a global network of cooperating law firms, including our offices in New York and London advising on Japanese law, and associated offices in Frankfurt and Vietnam advising on German and Vietnamese law, thus enabling us to manage international business beyond Korea and Japan.
