“Survey on Data Collaboration and Utilization of AI, etc. in the Healthcare Sector”

Lawyers of our firm have conducted a survey titled “Survey on Data Collaboration and Utilization of AI, etc. in the Healthcare Sector” in cooperation with NTT Data Institute of Management Consulting, Inc. The survey was commissioned by Seed Planning, Inc. on behalf of the Cabinet Secretariat's National Strategy Office of Information and Communication Technology, and recommissioned to NTT Data Institute of Management Consulting, Inc. and our firm.

With the cooperation of our overseas partner law firms, we carried out the following surveys in Finland, the United Kingdom, Taiwan and Denmark, and prepared both a summary and detailed report:

- Survey on standards, technology, regulations and information infrastructure in each country (personal information protection and data portability, standards and technology related to APIs and trusts, etc., status of related regulations, etc. concerning the utilization of data in the fields of health, medical care and nursing care); and
- Survey on usage of applications and services (usage of applications and services that utilize personal health data and information concerning the local area, community, living, etc.).
