Takashi Tezuka, Partner, and Fumiaki Matsuoka, Partner, presented a seminar entitled "Economic Security Promotion Act and Cyber Security," on July 7, 2023, hosted by Atsumi & Sakai and Japan Institute for Overseas Investment (JOI).

Based on an overview of the Economic Security Promotion Act, an explanation of specific preparations was given, assuming actual attacks and responses, from the perspective of court precedents regarding internal control systems under the Companies Act, rules stipulated by the Personal Information Protection Act and contractual practices, etc.
