Our Office Hours and Measures against COVID-19
Our office has relaxed restrictions on coming to the office as of March 13, 2023. From that date, hours of our reception desk, conference room usage, and operations of our main telephone number will be 10:00 to 17:00. Moreover, we are implementing a combination of on-site and remote working. Lawyers who work from home will continue to be reachable via remote computer access, online meeting platforms, email, direct lines and mobile lines, as usual.
As for meetings with our lawyers or staff, although we currently have no restrictions against face-to-face meetings, please follow the below guidelines, in line with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
When coming into our office, we ask that you disinfect your hands (disinfectant is always available in our reception area), and take your body temperature using a thermographic body temperature measuring system or non-contact thermometer. Please note that we may ask you to refrain from attending your meeting if your body temperature is 37°C or higher.
We will leave it to your discretion whether you wear a mask or not while visiting our office, but our lawyers and staff will wear non-woven masks during meetings.
During meals, we ask our lawyers and staff to follow the instructions of the local governments, but if there is a person around them who is at high risk of getting very sick from COVID-19, we recommend them to refrain from talking when they are not wearing masks, and to eat silently. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
Depending on the infection situation in the future, we may take further measures to minimize the risk to our clients, lawyers, and staff. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause to everyone, including our clients, but we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
