Notification Regarding Individual Infected with Novel Coronavirus

On December 5th, 2020, it was determined that one individual working at the Tokyo Office of our Firm tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus. In response to this, the Firm coordinated with the local Public Health Center to conduct a contact-tracing investigation of the activities of the affected individual, and found that no persons had been in close contact with the affected individual since said individual was teleworking full time.

Atsumi & Sakai's operations continue as usual under the current working system. Furthermore, the Firm will continue to prioritize the safety of everyone including our clients, lawyers and staff members, and to strive to prevent the spread of infection both inside and outside the Firm.
