Atsumi & Sakai opens London Office, Atsumi & Sakai Europe Limited

Atsumi & Sakai is proud to announce the opening of a branch office in London (Atsumi & Sakai Europe Limited (“A&S Europe”)) on January 23, 2015. With the opening of A&S Europe, Atsumi & Sakai will be able to provide real-time advice on Japanese law, and the laws of certain other jurisdictions* to its clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as providing a more convenient service to its clients in the Americas. A&S Europe will advise on all aspects of Japanese law, with a particular focus on banking, capital markets, securities regulation and M&A, and will be able to call on a dedicated Europe Team at Atsumi & Sakai, Tokyo for support as needed.

 

Mr. Ryuichi Nozaki**, a Partner in Atsumi & Sakai, has relocated to London and will head A&S Europe. Mr. Nozaki is a Japanese-qualified attorney (Bengoshi) of some 15 years’ standing; his primary practice areas include banking, capital markets, securities regulation and M&A. 

 

Mr. Nozaki will be supported by Mr. Hiroki Mori, a Senior Partner at Atsumi & Sakai, Tokyo and head of the Europe Team in Japan; Mr. Mori will also be available in London from time-to-time.
