[Pro Bono Activities] Atsumi & Sakai is continuously supporting Tomodachi Initiative

The Lawyers of our firm have provided legal services to the Tomodachi Initiative on a pro bono basis.  The Tomodachi Initiative is a "public-private partnership, born out of support for Japan’s recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake, that invests in the next generation of Japanese and American leaders through educational and cultural exchanges as well as entrepreneurship and leadership programs".  More than 10,000 students from the United States and Japan have participated in programs sponsored by the Tomodachi Initiative since its establishment in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake.  The Tomodachi Initiative is led by the United States Government and the U.S.- Japan Council, and is supported by the Government of Japan and corporations, organizations and individuals from the United States and Japan.
